Corrective Therapy

Corrective Therapy is a therapeutic session that addresses the decrease of functional movement due to pain, neurological deficits, past injuries and/or surgery.  Sessions begin with an intake to assess movement patterns, range of motion and/or muscle testing to hone in on client's specific issues. The modalities used include pin and stretch, vibration, dynamic cupping, IASTM, exercise, scar tissue mobilization, and/or kinesiotaping.

Note: With some corrective modalities, clients are sometimes actively engaged in order to facilitate some of the techniques. Clients may want to bring a sports bra, tank top or shorts. This is NOT required.

Myofascial release (MFR) therapy focuses on releasing muscular shortness and tightness. There are a number of conditions and symptoms that myofascial release therapy addresses.

Many patients seek myofascial treatment after losing flexibility or function following an injury or if experiencing ongoing back, shoulder, hip, or virtually pain in any area containing soft tissue.

Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage

In the Japenese language “Ashi” translates to foot and “Atsu” into pressure. Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy, is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure.
